Traditional Classic Barbering

Since barber school, I’ve always known Bexley was a neighborhood I wanted a shop in.

I was in the last few months of my education process and looking at spaces when I stumbled into what used to be Bexley Barbershop. It’d recently closed and was available for lease. Excitedly, I went back to class and told my administrator about the space with stars in my eyes. With a big smile on his face, he informed me that’s where he’d first started barbering back in the 70s.

As eager as I may have been, the space didn’t work out. Probably for the best. I learned that good things take time, I’d have to earn my place.

Fast forward a few years and here we are, back in Bexley. I’ve got a little experience under my belt and some wisdom. I’ve learned not just about the craft of haircutting but also the skill of being a business owner and a good neighbor.

Shops aren’t just thrown into a vacant space, they’re weaved into the fabric of the community and grown organically. I named this new home Bullitt Park Barbershop to pay homage to the community that came together to form Bexley over 100 years ago. It’s my humble goal to be of service, not just to the people of this community but to its history, and its legacy.

I can’t thank you enough for this opportunity.
